You'll need a minimum of a 2:1 degree in any subject (or be predicted a 2:1 degree upon graduation). Additionally, you'll also need to have 300 (or above) UCAS points.

What are the requirements for candidates applying to join the TUI UK Graduate Leadership Programme?

Additional to a minimum of 2:1 degree and 300 UCAS points, you'll also need to be able to demonstrate at least 12 months work experience (part or full time), some of which must be dealing with customers.

When does the TUI UK Graduate Leadership Programme start and how does it last for?

The 2012 UK Graduate programme will last between for 12-18 months - depending on whether you choose to complete 3 or 4 assignments in our key business areas. The start date for the 2012 intake will be in October 2012

What does the 18 month programme entail?

The programme will consist of 3-4 different assignments across various parts of TUI UK & Ireland, in areas such as Airline, Distribution & Customer, Overseas & Commercial. There will also be a structured development programme over the 18 months consisting of training courses and development workshops to enhance particular skills and behaviours.

Where will I be based?

Most of the assignments are likely to be based at TUI UK & Ireland's main head office Wigmore House, in Luton. However, there may be some assignments which are based in other UK Head Office locations (this will depend on the particular assignment).

All graduates will be required to live and work overseas during their assignment for the Overseas/Customer division.

The amount of time will vary, although it's likely to be between 4-6 weeks and accommodation/travel costs incurred whilst overseas will be covered. Additionally some of the development activities may involve working in other UK locations (e.g. Retail, Call Centre) for a short period of time.

When can I apply?

You can apply from 21st January 2012 until around mid March, although we may have to close the vacancy a bit earlier so please apply as soon as possible. Please note that we aim to respond to all applications within 6-8 weeks.

Is there a deadline for applications?

We would advise applying as soon as possible - the closing date is likely to be around the middle of March 2012.

What is the application process?

All candidates can apply here. You'll be required to submit your CV and answer some initial questions. The applications will then be screened against specific criteria set for the Graduate Leadership programme. If successful, you'll then be invited to take part in the next stage of the recruitment process.

Will I be given feedback if my application is unsuccessful?

Unfortunately due to the high number of applications we receive, we're not able to provide feedback to unsuccessful candidates after application screening, the online aptitude tests and telephone interview stages. We will provide feedback to all candidates who attend one of our assessment centres.

When will the assessment centres take place?

The assessment centres will take place between March & June.

I graduated a few years ago. Can I still apply for a graduate position?

Yes - there is no time limit as to how long ago you graduated.

What is the difference between the UK Graduate Leadership Programme and the International Management Training Programme?

These are 2 different Graduate schemes within the TUI Travel Group.

The UK Graduate Leadership Programme is a that launched in 2010 which has been designed specifically for the UK & Ireland division of TUI Travel PLC where graduates will be completing a number of assignments for departments within the UK over a 18 month period.

The International Management Training Programme extends over 18 months and consists of up to 6 different international assignments in various companies within the TUI Travel Group. There are 2 intakes for this programme (February & September). Visit the programme microsite for more specific information on this programme.

Can I complete the online aptitude tests at different times?

Yes, each assessment can be completed on its own. However please note that once you start the timed assessment you'll need to complete it in full (i.e. you are unable to log in and out of a started assessment).

Will I have the opportunity to complete practice questions?

Yes, there are 3 verbal and numerical practice questions. Once the 'start' button is pressed the timed assessment will begin.

I've received a message to 'contact the administrator' - what does this mean?

On the odd occasion that a candidate loses internet connection, the system will not allow the candidate to automatically log back in without their assessment being re-enabled. Please contact the TUI travel Recruitment team to re-activate your account.
